MEET THE FOUNDER
CARL HUDSON
I am originally from La Habra, CA located in Orange County. I was blessed with growing up around some of the best baseball in arguably the world. I attended and graduated Whittier Christian High school with honors. From there I attended Rio Hondo Junior College,and Graduated with a B.S. in Business from San Diego Christian College in 2021, and Graduated with a M.S. in Leadership (Sports Admin Emphasis) from San Diego Christian College in 2022.
My playing career lasted 16 years of my life, from the age of 6 all the way to the age of 22. During my playing career I played at Rio Hondo college and San Diego Christian College. During that time I was blessed with the opportunity to spend many off-seasons in college being able to train with some of the best catchers in the country and during COVID caught over 20 minor league and MLB pitchers combined in a live ab and sometimes mini game format. After my 5thyear of college and finishing my master's degree I decided to retire from the game of baseball and continue to work full time in baseball. I felt I had a greater call to continue baseball in the coaching world and would be able to make more of an impact on this beautiful game.

COMPANY STORY
CH Catching/Hitting was founded in Orange County in 2020 with the aim of training athletes of all ages. The organization rapidly grew in popularity and became known for building strong personal relationships with its athletes and College ready catchers. In 2021, the organization moved to San Diego to expand its reach and provide more in-depth and analytical training. CH Catching/Hitting has established itself as a reputable brand in San Diego and is continuing to expand throughout the county.
SERVICES OFFERED
CH Catching/Hitting offers data-driven training at all skill levels. Players are informed of their current standing and trained based on their skill set through small groups or one-on-one sessions. CH Catching/Hitting utilizes simplified teaching methods to make it easy for athletes to understand any skill set, whether they are youth or a pro athlete. All athletes receive objective feedback, including video evaluation, to help them gauge their progress.
CH Catching/Hitting uses video, video delay, radar guns, MLB comparisons, and a record/rank/publish leaderboard system to provide objective feedback for Catcher training. The training also focuses on creating a consistent mental approach for the catcher position.
For hitting, CH Catching/Hitting utilizes Blast Motion, video, video delay, and a record/rank/publish system to help athletes improve their hitting skills.
